JESUS CHRIST THE TRUE PROPHET

To win a war you first have to win the hearts and minds or more to the point you have to over come the minds and hearts of the enemy. The tool to fight with first is WORDS.

We see Hitler galvanising the Germans together with words. Hitler the true orator. Hitler had the “Gift of the gab”. I think this gift is the prophet gift. Hitler the prophet but a gift he used for evil so we call Hitler a false prophet. Prophets have strong minds, they are able to manipulate their audiences because their minds are so controlling.
You know a true prophet by their fruits. Hitlers fruit was rotten to the core. People are drawn to prophets either they be bad or good because of the prophets strong spirit / mind. People are drawn to strength either it be physical or spiritual strength. Humans are really weak.
A prophet to capture its audience goes further than just oral speaking a prophet might even write and distribute their own book. Hitler had his bible called “Mein Kampf” (My Struggle). We have the bible of Jesus Christ; Jesus Christ a prophet. Mao Tse Tung had his “Little Red Book”. Prophets love to manipulate minds and to do this they love to “Rant and Rave”. The key to any victory over people is to win the people’s minds and hearts and a prophet understands that. And we get the prophets also writing their bibles.
Jesus Christ (Only begotten Son of the supreme creator God) was and is the ultimate true God prophet. We measure any prophet against Jesus Christ.
Hitler and Mao and their likes are false prophets.

Yours Sincerely; Lester John Murray.

  1. Matthew Perri Says:

We agree on a lot. I would love hear your feedback on the following.

I would say we have “the words of Jesus given through His appointed Apostles Matthew & John, faithful eyewitnesses who walked with Him for His entire ministry.” (Supported by two other authors of eyewitness accounts, Gospel authors Mark and Luke. And this is in fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.)

Many self-professed “Bible-believing Evangelicals” won’t listen to the words of Jesus, because they are brainwashed through reciting their “mantra” – “all scripture is God-breathed.”

This “Evangelical Mantra” has been accepted by the collective subconscious mind of “The Evangelical Church” without thought, question, reflection, or even 2 witnesses from the Scripture itself. It’s based on a misinterpretation, out of context, of one verse in one letter written by one man, Paul the Pharisee, who was unfamiliar with the personal ministry and teaching of Jesus.

But, “Once an idea has been accepted by your subconscious, it remains there and it governs your behavior until it is replaced or changed.” [ as a pastor named Bishop Dale C. Bronner observed in one of his sermons]

(Definition from the American Heritage Dictionary.) Mantra (noun) (Hinduism.) A sacred formula believed to embody the divinity invoked and to possess magical power, used in prayer and incantation.

When cult members repeat their mantra, it makes them deaf to the voice of God, unable to hear God. Instead, it puts their focus on their one “special man” above all others – his personality, words and teachings, character, life example, feelings, experience, intentions, mind, will, emotions, etc. Their cult leader is their hero – he is always right, could never be wrong about anything specific, and he must be obeyed in all things and never questioned. He will give himself a special title, write at least one special book, and claim special authority, with no need for a second witness to back him up.
    Here are 3 examples.

.1) Fuhrer. The title of Adolf Hitler as the leader of the German Nazis, author of “Mein Kamph”. Mantra: “Heil Hitler.”

.2) The self-appointed Prophet Muhammad, author of The Koran. Mantra: …..”and Muhammad is his prophet.”

.3) Paul the Pharisee, the self-appointed Apostle to the Gentiles, whose 13 letters comprise one third of what, today, we call the “New Testament.” (The first, original “New Testament” was composed by the second century heretic Marcion, and he coined the term “New Testament.” His new “book” contained nothing except 10 of Paul’s letters and an abbreviated Gospel of Luke. There were no other “New Testament” books, and the Hebrew Scriptures were the “Old Testament” which was irrelevant, according to the heretic Marcion.) Mantra: “All Scripture is God-breathed….”

I got my Masters Degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. I was attracted to the school because they put Paul’s mantra of “All Scripture is God-breathed” above everything else, and I wanted to heed Paul’s command and “Preach the Word” like Paul….

This mantra is a misinterpretation out of context of 2 Timothy 3:16. It ignores the previous verse, 2 Timothy 3:15, which clearly indicates that Paul was NOT referring to his own letters when he wrote the words “All Scripture.”

Paul was probably making reference to some of the Hebrew Scriptures, quite likely including the Law and the Prophets. We cannot be completely certain exactly which “Scriptures” Paul meant in “All Scripture”, and what Paul meant by “God-breathed.” Why can’t we be certain?

Because we must establish a matter by the testimony of two or three witnesses, especially something as important as “What is the Word of God.” No one else in the pages of the Bible besides Paul ever said anything like “All Scripture is God-breathed”. And Paul only said it here, one time, in the middle of a personal letter.

The Apostle Peter made reference to “Prophecy of Scripture,” not “All Scripture,” and no it’s not the same thing at all. Jesus never said anything like that. And no one, not even Paul, ever said that all Scripture was equal.

I remember the general approach to the Bible at Dallas being that “every word in the 66 Books is the Word of God”….. and we should interpret it based on “the intended meaning of the author in the historical grammatical context.”

That is the basic idea of the heavy-duty seminary language we were being trained in. It sounds so right, so intelligent, so professional, so “godly”….. but it is fundamentally flawed.

When we look at Paul’s teachings and testimony about himself, (in his letters that make up 1/3 of the New Testament,) we should NOT immediately ask ourselves; “what did Paul say, what did Paul mean, and how does this apply to my life?” The fundamental question is NOT “what was in the mind of Paul?”

Before any of that, the FIRST question to ask is; “does Paul agree with Jesus, who came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets?”

Paul contradicted himself, and his teachings and testimony about himself don’t harmonize with the teachings of Jesus (or with Luke’s record of his life.) Let’s not waste our time with endless debates about “what Paul really meant” with his wacky teachings about “baptizing the dead” or “there is neither male nor female.” Paul was wrong. Jesus reminds us from The Law “at the beginning, the Creator made them male and female.” [Matthew 19:4, Genesis 1:27]

      Hi Matthew
Thank you for sending me your comments. I have mused over them for a few days now. To be honest I have also tried to shy away from them too. Why? Well you want feed back and I am only too ready to know that I know nothing and God knows all. Yes God is in me. But I still am unsure (as is the next believer) about my conviction in my faith. What is truth? Pilate said this question to Jesus. But Jesus ignored the question. Why? Because the truth was looking Pilate in the face. Jesus was standing in front of Pilate, meaning? The Truth is Jesus. You don’t ask God or his Son what is truth. God is truth. Pilate had opportunity to ask Gods Son many questions, only as long as Pilate recognised Jesus as Gods Son and worshipped Him as such. We have God within. We in spirit and soul can recognise Gods Spirit, worship Him in Spirit and ask Him questions.

There was a boy who wanted answers. This boy was seeking the truth. Arthur was his name. Arthur went to many countries. Arthur went to many so called scholars and wise men. Arthur asked these men intelligent questions. Arthur wanted answers to life. Arthur wanted “to know” “to be in the know”. Pilate on seeing Jesus “what is truth”, it was looking Pilate in the face, the answers to life were looking Arthur in the face. Arthur traveled world wide seeking his answers but the answers were not “out there”. If the answers were not out there where were they. If it’s not out its in. Arthur travelled for 15 years, he studied under many wise men and scholars in universities and colleges. Arthur came home still feeling and thinking he was no wiser than when he first left on this quest. Arthur went to his dying father. The father was dying of old age. Arthur sat at his fathers bedside day and night. Nothing was said. Then after about a week Arthur’s father motioned his son to come near him. “What is it father”? Arthur said. “Son” the father said, “All true answers lie within”. Then the father died.

We humans are essentially spirit and soul. God also is Spirit. The answer lies in Gods Spirit. When we invite Jesus Christ in to our hearts Gods Spirit comes in to our heart. The wise person will say to the person seeking the meanings to life that the meaning to life lie within. Meaning can mean purpose. We want to know our God given vocation. Without knowing and doing our God given vocation we feel empty in our hearts. Most people do not know their true vocation. So most people live out an “act”. We people are like actors on the world stage. We live with our masks on over our faces. We know no better. Everyone seems to be in the same boat, few have removed their masks. Those true seekers in their youth usually also end up wearing masks. I mean you have to earn a living, you have to eat, provide for a family etc. You can not take off your mask, you wear it day and night.

To find truth is very hard. To find ones true vocation is very hard. Pilate could not see truth when it was right in front of him. The truth is right in front of us. That’s if we have the truth within. Jesus is the truth. Spirit and soul are immaterial. We are mortals and we value material so much. But to relate in spirit and soul we must think apart from all our attachments to things of this world. Our car, our house, our mobile phone etc. The wise man to find truth might go away from even all people and live alone like a hermit. Thoughts have to be pure and un attached to physical. What’s sets our thoughts free? Truth does. We want to be FREE. Free thinking. Free to reflect. So we seek truth to be free.

Apostle Paul does not make us free. Apollos does not make us free. Your college teachers do not make us free. The Bible scripture does not make us free (there is some freedom here as there is light here from the scriptures) ONLY Jesus Christ makes us completely free. We do not worship the bible. The bible is not God the person. The bible is the WILL of God. Here are two wills of God, with the later will superseding the first will. God is a man of His Word. God stands on His Word. Gods Words are supreme. God is the WORD. The bible has the word of God in it (but not perfect word). The bible is Gods Words as we know them. God uses people to get his messages out to the human race. God uses mortals to be his messengers and these messengers can sin. The bible because man is mortal and errant can have errors in it. The bible is now in many versions and errancy can get in. God can inspire people to do things or think things but the result can not always be perfect. God is in the inspiring people but often these people can also diverse in to say humanism. What person is without sin? Everyone is a sinner. No human except Jesus can say they are sinless. The bible words are the best and closest words we have to Gods will and we should honour that. Nothing is perfect in this world and that goes for the bible too but let’s make the best of what we have. And it’s the TRUTH that sets us free and even if the bible may have errancy, such errancy can be very little as we hope the scholars that wrote it were wise people. I find the words in the bible full of truth but I am also ready to be open in my mind to any error. We have tensions in the body about women and their teaching and preaching. Tensions exist and they exist maybe because of error in the bible. There are a number of tensions in the body of Christ towards scripture. Now we are having tension about homosexuality. Some believe gay is ok others do not. The body is in tension, hearts are in tension. What is the truth? Pilate asked this. But Pilate asked the truth what is the truth, sound nonsense, yes. We the body are asking the head what is the truth. The head has the truth but we the body would rather think that we know how to do things. Ever seen a body builder; a puny head on top; their body comes before their head; they glory the body not the head. So still we do not know the “Truth”.

Matthew you seemed to have prior expectations before you went to the Dallas college. Preaching like Paul did. The bible is all inerrant.

I like to think enlightenment comes over time. Light over comes the darkness. We must be patient. We might not know until we are very old. They say “wisdom comes with age”.

We follow Jesus not Paul. I went to a bible college. I lived on campus for a few years. I was searching for answers but I found nothing of consequence from my studies. It was just assignments and exams that I dished out to please the teachers. The teachers told me where to find the intellectual food in man inspired books and I put this food together in a palatable lot and fed it to the teachers. If the food tasted ok then I was marked high. Actually I found college and schooling was based on intelligence. The higher intelligence you had the better you did at your studies. I also found that teachers admired and favoured those students who were of high intelligence. Low intelligent students were not bothered with much by the faculty. Ability is intelligence and the world fawns over ability. But intelligence has become a god. Especially in schooling. I like to learn by experience. Experience can teach us better than high intelligence can teach us at times. Not everyone has high intelligence but everyone can learn from experience. And having high intelligence does not mean God favours them, that action of favouring is mans wisdom. God looks at the heart. Man looks at the mind.

Matthew thank you again for sharing your comments with me. But when it comes down to the level “I know nothing, God knows all”. But I have the mind of Christ (so says the scriptures). And with this mind I hope I have been of help.

To cap it off I feel and sense I have not made it plainly clear about whether the Bible is ALL truly Gods WORDS. God is a person three persons in one. The bible is a book not a person. We do not worship books. We do not worship holy books. We worship the author of the bible. But we esteem and uphold the authors writings. And the bible can be errant, why? Because the messengers could be errant.

We want to be FREE in the collective subconscious and the collective conscious.

      Blessings.

      • Matthew Perri Says:

As to the question of “whether the Bible is ALL truly Gods WORDS”…

The underlying unspoken assumption is that “The Bible” (66 Books) was given to us by God as “one book” and it’s all “equal” in level of authority, priority, and importance.

This comes from inconsciously believing Paul’s mantra, the “Evangelical Mantra”, that “All Scripure is God-breathed”, and falsely assuming Paul was referring to every word in the 66 Books of the Bible. Yet even here, not even Paul, not even once, ever said that “All Scripture is EQUAL” in authority, priority, and importance.

No one in the pages of the Bible ever said or wrote that “all Scripture,” or “the Bible,” is “truly God’s words”. Jesus never said anything like that, and Jesus did not see it that way. Jesus did not see even the Hebrew Scriptures, what we call the “Old Testament”, as a whole unit or book that was all equal or “all truly God’s words.”

Jesus spoke of The Law, or The Law and the Prophets, holding these 2 sections of the Old Testament above the third, least important sections the “Writings.” And Jesus held the Psalms, the first book of the “Writings” section, above the other books in the “Writings” section in importance, since some parts of some Psalms are prophetic.

Obviously, the New Testament Scriptures were not written when Jesus was walking the earth. But if we want to get closest to The Source, Jesus himself, it makes sense that we should look first to the eyewitness testimony of two of His appointed Apostles who walked with Him faithfully for over 3 years, Matthew & John. (Also to other eyewitness testimony, recorded by Mark and Luke.) This is more accurate, important, and authoritative than personal letters written by Paul the Pharisee, who never knew Jesus personally, had no part in His ministry, and had no eyewitness testimony.

We should follow the Jesus of the Gospel writers. We should not follow the “jesus” of Paul the Pharisee or Muhammad or any other man, who had their own ideas of who “jesus” was and what He did.

  2. Matthew Perri Says:

    Poem – What is love?

    Two men came to Jesus
    With different motivations.
They asked Him the same question
    Relevant to all the nations:

    Which is the Most Important?
    The answer was the same.
    Jesus did not manipulate
He was not there to play a game.

“Love the Lord your God” said Jesus
as He quoted from The Law –
    to fulfill and not abolish
was His purpose, full of awe.

Jesus did not make all Scripture
    Into one new great commandment.
He summarized The Law and Prophets
“First and Greatest” and “The Second.”

The Love of God is higher
Than the love of any man.
Receive from God, give back to God-
Then to others, that’s His plan.

The Love of God involves much more
Than simply “love your fellow man.”
Worship, trust, and pray to God,
and obey Him – that’s His plan

To worship and pray to neighbors,
    Whoever they may be,
Or trust and obey our enemies
    Would be idolatry.

The love of God is first and greatest,
And the love of man is second.
“All we need is love” are words
of dead Beetles on the pavement.

“The entire law is summed up in a single command”
are not the words of Jesus our Salvation.
It’s false teaching of Paul the Pharisee
    an “accuser of our brethren.”

“Love” without God is Satan’s word through Paul
in his chapter to the Corinthians.
“I will show you the most excellent way”
is the road to eternal perdition.

Where is God in Paul’s chapter on love?
Nowhere in view of the eye.
Paul sings about himself like a Mexican Mariachi
    “I, I, I, I.”

Jesus is The Most Excellent Way
Not the words of a Pharisee.
The words of Jesus are very clear.
Jesus said, “You must follow ME.”
